FAQ

Buyer questions, answered straight

The questions importers and retail buyers actually ask us, with honest answers — including the ones with "it depends" attached, because pretending otherwise wastes your time.

We are the manufacturer. Dakang Holding Group runs a 100,000 m² production base in Anji, Zhejiang, with 14 assembly lines and 700-plus people. You are welcome to audit the site before placing a programme — big retailers do, which is why they stay on our customer list.

It depends on the model and whether you want OEM or ODM, so we quote MOQ per enquiry rather than publish one number that would be wrong for most orders. For retail programmes we usually think in 40HQ terms. Tell us the category and your market and we will give you a realistic minimum and the price breaks.

Yes — we are an audited supplier to major retailers including Walmart, Target and Argos. That experience is the main reason our packing, labelling and audit readiness are built around big-box requirements rather than one-off orders.

We build and test to BIFMA and EN seating standards, and we arrange third-party reports per order. We do not claim a blanket "certified" status, because the right report depends on the model and your destination. Tell us your market early and we scope the exact testing into the programme.

Yes — private label is standard. Your logo, colourway, barcodes, multilingual assembly sheets and master-carton artwork all go on under an OEM or ODM agreement, and we confirm the branding on a sample before production.

We build a physical sample so you can confirm fit, fabric and — for rockers — the motion before anything tools. Sample and courier costs are usually the buyer’s and are often credited against a confirmed order; we agree this in writing per programme so there are no surprises.

For a chair we already tool, production usually starts soon after sample sign-off. A new ODM development adds weeks for tooling and a sampling round. We give you a realistic date with the quote rather than an optimistic one we cannot hold.

Office chairs ship knocked-down where possible, one unit per carton. Rocking chairs are braced at the motion points and knocked down where the design allows, to protect the glide and cut volume. Everything is engineered to load a 40HQ tight — leisure programmes especially live on cube cost.
